As usual, Apple should have three special events this year. Among them, WWDC25 in June has been officially announced to be held from June 10th to 14th, Beijing time.
The other two events are rumored to take place in September and October, staying true to Apple’s usual fall schedule. According to recent reports, the company is preparing to introduce more than 10 new hardware products across these events, including what could be Apple’s newest invention — a completely reimagined iPhone model and upgrades across the entire ecosystem.
Apple new products list
1. iPhone 17 series: This generation still offers four models, but the model lineup will be adjusted. The Plus model may be cancelled and a new Air model will be introduced.
The new iPhone 17 Air is ultra-thin, with an estimated thickness of only 5.5mm and a size of about 6.6 inches. In addition, the exterior design will also be greatly changed compared to the current model.
The appearance of the standard version has not changed much, mainly the size has increased to 6.3 inches. The core upgrade in configuration is the screen, which will support 120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate for the first time.
The appearance of the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max has changed significantly. They will adopt an oversized camera module that runs across both sides of the body, and will be equipped with a 48MP 3.5X telephoto lens for the first time.
2. AirPods Pro 3: This generation of AirPods Pro 3 will have a new appearance design and be equipped with a new generation of chips to provide better sound quality and active noise reduction performance.
In addition, considering the Powerbeats Pro 2 that Apple launched not long ago, it is highly likely that AirPods Pro 3 will also support the “heart rate monitoring” function.
3. Apple Watch Series 11: In terms of function, the long-rumored “blood pressure monitoring” may be postponed again. But in terms of software, watchOS 12 is expected to usher in some major changes in the interface, and it is said that some visionOS design elements will be introduced.
4. Apple Watch SE 3: There were rumors about this generation changing to a plastic shell, but later there were reports that Apple failed to solve the cost problem of the plastic shell. Therefore, the Apple Watch SE 3 may just be a regular upgrade, or even not be updated.
5. Apple Watch Ultra 3: It is expected to be equipped with MediaTek’s modem to enable 5G network. At the same time, it is equipped with “satellite communication” function for the first time.
6. Mac Pro: This is the only Mac that Apple has not yet upgraded to the M4 chip. The next generation Mac Pro is expected to be equipped with the M4 Ultra chip and the design is also expected to be updated.
7. MacBook Pro: Regular chip upgrade, from M4 to M5. According to reports, the next design iteration will not be until 2026, and will transition from a notch screen to a punch-hole screen.
8. AirTag 2: The new AirTag 2 will have a more tamper-proof speaker design, a longer tracking distance, and will be more closely integrated with Vision Pro.
9. Apple TV 4K: It will be the first to be equipped with Apple’s self-developed Bluetooth and Wi-Fi chips, and the processor will be replaced with A17 Pro or A18, and it is expected to support some Apple smart functions.
10.HomePod mini 2: Everyone must have been waiting for this product for a long time. The current model was released in November 2020, and the hardware has not been updated for more than four years.
According to reports, the new HomePod mini 2 will be equipped with Apple’s self-developed Bluetooth and Wi-Fi chips, just like Apple TV. Apple’s goal is to make the collaboration between its smart home products smoother through this self-developed chip.
The appearance is expected to have no significant changes, but there will still be new colors. The sound quality is also expected to improve, but the chip may not have a major upgrade.
